Ecologically Balanced Specially Handcrafted For You Charitable Legacy Made in Africa

Malcolm, Ros & Sally

Our beloved friends like to do things the traditional, artisanal way, producing hand-printed textiles inspired by South African fine art prints, screened onto a locally sourced 100% Cotton base cloth. When we decided to create our Adjust-a-bowls, we knew we had to find and secure a good and solid partnership.

This is the Caversham message for you:

Our story involves a family run business that goes back 32 years. Our passion for beautifully handmade items and attention to detail is what drives us. We prefer to keep things personal and deal with our clients directly, enabling us to work to individual requirements.

How We Came About

Our roots lie in the first generation of the family business. Malcolm and Ros Christian moved to a small valley in the beautiful KZN Midlands, and developed the first private printmaking studio in South Africa, collaborating with artists to produce a vast archive of limited edition original prints. The couple was later joined by daughter, Sally, after 12 years of studying and working within the clothing and textile design industry.

Where We Are Now

We currently have five ranges with a sophisticated, fresh and modern feel, all based on some form of traditional printmaking.

We don’t believe in mass produced material, we like to put a little bit of our heart and soul into every meter we print. Our textiles are all screen-printed on our 12-meter table by two people - this in itself is a mammoth process, but a truly magical one as you watch the full design emerge! Our beloved friends like to do things the traditional, artisanal way, producing hand printed textiles, inspired by South African fine art prints, screened onto a locally sourced 100% Cotton base cloth.
