Africa is one of the most astounding continents in the world. The amount of culture that is within that continent is an incredible sight to see. Today we are ranking our top 5 African beaches that you can plan for next year’s vacation. After being stuck in quarantine, you will be ready to pack your bags and visit the most breathtaking views of the sandy African beaches.

(This list is in no particular order but, it is just our personal opinion of our favorite African beaches in 2020.)

Watamu Beach, Kenya. Take some gal pals with you to do fun attractions like snorkeling and diving around the  offshore coral formations. The most appealing and interesting part about this beach is that part of it is part of the Malindi Marine Reserve Water. The Malinidi Marine reserve water is a marine protected area, you might even get to see some sea turtle eggs.

Diani Beach, Kenya. Another beach in Kenya, this is by far one of the most popular beaches. The cleanest beaches to ever see, this beach is kept pristine and clear of any yucky seaweed by the coral reef just offshore. Don’t think that this beach doesn’t have any fun attractions because you can take a kitesurfing lesson.

Mnemba Island, Tanzania. This gorgeous view is located off the north coast of Tanzania. This private island offers the best snorkeling and scuba diving in the clearest warm waters. More fun attractions you need to do are whale watching, swimming with dolphins, and whale shark encounters.

Anse Georgette Beach, Praslin. Praslin Island has many beaches but Anse Georgette Beach has to be a favorite among them because it is blocked off by visitors and only residents of the resort on the beach can access it. It is so private and closed off, you need to reserve your beach visit ahead of time but this keeps the area clean and uncrowded. The water is clear as day with not a coral or rocks insight to mark the ocean floor. This is a must-see when traveling

Banana Beach, São Tomé, and Príncipe. A calm stretch of pristine sand beach is the way to go when visiting any beach. It is a peaceful piece of paradise. Guides can even take you walking into the surrounding vegetated hills that blend in with the warm sand. What makes this beach unique is its tremendous biodiversity, and so, a limited number of people are allowed at once
